Republican Madness

Michael Steele may be the head of the Republican National Committee but you wouldn't know it with the way that so many Republicans (including Steele) have taken upon themselves to kowtow to radio pundit Rush Limbaugh.

The Secret Republican Apology Machine

Open Letter to Republican Traitors (From a Former Republican)

It's weird to see a major political party kowtow to some loud-mouth pundit who has dissed drug abusers (while being addicted to Oxycontin himself) and praised the institution of marriage (while he went through three marriages and divorces) and once made fun of Michael J. Fox's Parkinson's disease. At times I gloat because I've been a registered Democrat for many years.

However, the day that the Democratic Party starts looking to people like Keith Olbermann or Randi Rhodes as the de-facto leader of that party will be the day that I re-register as an Independent. Because any political party that kowtows to any political pundit is a party that is not only totally pathetic but has run completely out of ideas and I don't want to be associated with that.
